May 2007; Trevor acted for Japanese student who suffered a diffuse brain injury in the UK and became paralysed from the neck down. Award £5,000,000.

January 2009; On behalf of the defendant, Trevor was instructed in one of the UK's largest personal injury claims, initially pleaded at £30,000,000, reduced to £22,000,000, then £18M. (see January 2010 below).

April 2009; Trevor advised by defendant client of his "utterly invaluable contribution in helping a claim pleaded at  £7M to settle at just over £1M". 

July 2009; Trevor's contribution for the claimant's case described as "a comprehensive report meticulously researched and supported by good evidence, helping the legal team secure a high seven figure settlement". 

January 2010; Claim which was finally pleaded at £18,000,000 (see January 2009). Claimant awarded £9.3M.  Trevor commended by counsel on his 'stunning performance' in the witness box.  "(despite the lack of readily accessible data) Trevor, undeterred, researched the matter thoroughly and presented a very comprehensive report which was of great assistance.  What was more important was the clarity with which Trevor presented his evidence-in-chief and the calm, professional and competent manner in which he maintained his opinion under cross-examination".

February; Trevor launches new witness familiarisation training project for lay witnesses (witnesses of fact); Witness Box www.witnessbox.co.uk  in collaboration with three leading sets of chambers.
